The Vlora court has jailed Fredi Beleri, the candidate of the coalition of the municipality of Berisha and Meta for the municipality of Himara, who was arrested the day before for buying votes.

Bargaining for buying votes led to the imprisonment of the candidate of the Berisha-Meta coalition for the Municipality of Himara, Fredi Beleri, the day before (May 12).

He was arrested together with his bodyguard Panajot Kokoveshi, after an infiltrated police agent intercepted the moment when Beler's associates gave 40,000 ALL for the votes of 8 people.

The banknotes were seized, while after the arrest, some citizens from Himara said that Beleri offered them up to 10,000 lek per vote, but they did not receive them.
