Ilir Beqaj refuses to pay 120,000 lek tax for receiving the acts of his investigation file from SPAK.

Through a criminal request, the former minister asks the court to compel SPAK to give him the documents of the file without paying the procedural expenses in advance. The amount requested from Beqaja, as printing costs, is 120 thousand new lek, based on the institution's fees.

Today's session, where Beqaj was not present, but was represented by a lawyer, was postponed to another date to give the applicant time to present the evidence in the form required by law.

During the session, his lawyer claimed that, being a person under investigation, he should not pay to receive the documents of the file and that the procedural costs can only be paid at the end of the process.
