Edvin Kulluri has made strong accusations about the counting of votes for a candidate for the National Council of the Democratic Party, after the Assembly on April 30, where he failed to be declared the winner.
According to Kulluri, the people who stole votes last year to become chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, stole them again to become part of the National Council, people who according to him have no contribution to the party.
"The election of the National Council was a problematic product. Many of the names chosen were anonymous, not prominent local personalities. They do not meet any conditions, many of the names that have been chosen there. Hajdari, who was attacked endlessly, the same party member, the party changed its mind and voted en masse. I defended Hajdari because it was not their fault that they were expelled, but I do not understand the vote of these people. Ibsen and I are the people who raised this whole cause. The tradition of counting votes in the Stalinist way continues to be the same. "The people who stole votes for Basha are now the ones who counted the votes for the National Council," he said.
Regarding the date of the elections for DP chairman to be held on May 22, Kulluri stated that the Re-establishment Commission, like Lulzim Basha, leaves a few days for the other candidates.
"There is no future for the DP here. The DP is divided on the basis of this, as most of the deputies of the Parliamentary group were not present in the Assembly on April 30. "They have 13 days left for the race for mayor, the same as Lul Brava did," Kulluri told Report tv, who has previously expressed his desire to run.
