'A populist balloon of a politician who has run out of time' This is how the head of the socialist parliamentary group Taulant Balla considered the request of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who stated that the Albanian state should expel the Russian ambassador.
In a statement to the media after the speech of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, Balla said that the proposals of politicians who have closed the chapter have no value. The head of the socialist parliamentary group stated that Albania's position has been clear and if the aggressor is harmed, measures will be taken to close the borders to Russian tourists.
'The Assembly had a session, which was clear and the position of Albania expressed by Rama In we have offered support both in terms of Albania's presence in the UN and as a member of NATO. I do not believe that it is the moment that here in Albania certain politicians who have closed the chapter come up with proposals that have no value. Unjustifiable Russian aggression in Ukraine has made the world more united against Russia. I would ask you to deal with serious things and not with the populist balloons of a politician who has run out of time. For me, Berisha does not exist. Russia an aggressor against Ukraine, and all measures have been taken in favor of sanctions against Russia. If this hurts the aggressor, the Russian tourists, we will take action. But we do not comment and give value to the balloons issued by Sali Berisha.- said Balla.
