If the elections for the municipality of Elbasan were held today, the current mayor Gledjan Llatja would win again. The SP candidate is competing for the municipality of Elbasan with only Luciano Boçi, the candidate of the Berisha-Meta coalition. 

From the survey of the Piepoli Institute in collaboration with Report Tv, 49-53% of the respondents say they would vote for Gledjan Llatja, while 36-40% would vote for Luciano Bočin. A not small percentage that could lead to a close result between the candidates, 9-13% of the respondents do not support any of the candidates.

SP pronounced majority in Elbasan, almost in the quotas of 2021

If the May 14 elections were held today, the Socialist Party would win in the municipality of Elbasan, with a significant majority as a political force.

In the survey of the Piepoli Institute in cooperation with Report TV, it turns out that 50-54% of the respondents would vote for the SP and 33-36% would vote for the Berisha-Meta coalition.

To make a comparison with the year 2021, SP is confirmed as the winning force in Elbasan where, according to the survey, the percentage of people who trust the socialists has increased.

DP suffers a significant decline, whose votes seem to go to the Berisha-Meta coalition. From the 40.5% that DP had in 2021, according to those asked by the Piepoli survey, only 7-11% of the citizens of Elbasan will vote for it in the May 14 elections.
