How will it act if the opposition goes on a hunger strike? How does Edi Rama

Asked on the 'Repolitix' show how he would act if the opposition went on a hunger strike, Prime Minister Edi Rama said that it is someone's sovereign decision and that he cannot do anything to stop it.

"Hunger strike is a sovereign decision of someone who will go on hunger strike. We can't stop it. Why negotiate? For bread or for water?" said Rama.

When asked that he has also been on hunger strike, Rama answered:

"What have we been on hunger strike for? For something that is not even discussed today, that we have given to the opposition. When we were in the opposition, the leader of the group took the floor just like everyone else and he didn't have the opportunity to speak for a minute more".

Nikoll Lesi said that if the country had another opposition that would have the trust of the citizens, then the 'Rama' government would be overthrown.

But Rama replied that "a democratically elected government is not surrounded. It surrounds itself with the brain, but when the brain does not work, the body also takes you in an ignorant direction, you see yourself climbing into the window".
