The mayor of Fushë-Arrëzi has offered to accommodate thousands of African immigrants who are expected to come from Italy to our country.

The agreement between Prime Ministers Edi Rama and Giorgia Meloni has sparked many debates and disagreements, but Mayor Hil Curri wants immigrants to be sheltered in Fushë-Arrëz.

Through a letter addressed to Prime Minister Edi Rama but also to several foreign embassies in the country, the mayor of the "Together We Win" coalition requests that African immigrants be accommodated in the municipality administered by him.

"Furthermore, the community of Fushë Arrëzi is ready to make a positive contribution to the lives of these individuals, offering them a supportive environment where they can build their lives, find security and access the necessary resources" , he says among other things in the letter.
