The Republic of Albania establishes Diplomatic Relations with the Commonwealth of Dominica.

On March 20, 2025, a Joint Communiqué was signed at the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in London on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Albania and the Commonwealth of Dominica.

The document was signed by the Ambassador of Albania to the United Kingdom, Uran Ferizi, and the Acting High Commissioner of the Commonwealth High Commission of Dominica in the United Kingdom, Janet Charles.

This historic event marks the beginning of a new diplomatic cooperation, based on the principles of mutual respect, shared interests and commitment to international norms. Diplomatic relations will strengthen ties between the two countries in areas such as economy, culture, education and the protection of democratic values.

"This step reflects Albania's tireless efforts to expand its global presence and build partnerships with countries that share common goals," the Albanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
