Interior Minister Taulant Balla has reacted after the powerful explosion that happened today in Lushnje where one person lost his life and eight others were seriously injured.
Balla said that the crane operator was a victim after the explosion of the vehicle he was driving, which came into contact with the high voltage current.
From the Trauma hospital, Balla said that his son, who was nearby during the explosion, was also seriously injured.
As for the condition of MP Bujar Çela, Balla said that he received a wound as a result of the explosion, but was isolated after treatment at the hospital.
"In the industrial area of Lushnja, near a warehouse complex, an explosion is suspected to have occurred, probably caused by contact with a high-voltage line that then discharged the current and caused the explosion of an excavator, whose driver immediately lost his life. Another person who was nearby, suspected to be the victim's son, was seriously injured.
Bujar Çela received a wound due to the explosion, and I can say that the wound was managed to be isolated and the MP went for a more specialized treatment near the Trauma hospital. In total, there are three unpaid workers who are close to Trauma", said Balla.
