Berisha: I want to express today the greatest appreciation for the dedication and work you have done in the debate on the basic annual process for every parliament and every country, which is the budget.
I think that in the discussions and in the preparations made by the parliamentary group, apart from propaganda, they did everything to address the most painful, acute problems of today's Albanian society, created by this theft that exceeds any imagination of public funds and assets, but accompanied by a total loss of sensitivity of those who steal from their victims, the citizens.
It is enough to remind you here how Lubi Balluku repeated yesterday, remembering that he accused me of selling Hotel Dajtin to give the pensioners a bonus.
And if I did it for that purpose, I did the best thing.
I tell you here, when I see that he has given traffickers 6 million square meters of tourist land for 1 euro, never a thousand times before our government would put them on the market and give the money to the owners and retirees and never could act in this way.
So, we had given the money of Hotel Dajti to the pensioners, as if we had given it to the fierce enemies of the Albanian society, not to people who, at any level, never get out of debt.
They don't get into debt because they are parents, they are grandparents, they don't get into debt because they spent their lives in this country, they didn't leave, they worked here.
It doesn't get out of debt because it ruthlessly creates a terrible gap between the maximum salary and the maximum pension, let's say.
In Albania, the average salary is one tenth of Duman's salary. It is one seventh of Edi Rama's salary.
In the US, the average salary is one fifth of the president's salary. No question. In Germany the same as the chancellor's salary and everywhere.
But only those who have the opportunity to multiply the citizens by zero, allow themselves such things.
Therefore we have done a very good thing. You have done an extremely good thing.
