Prime Minister Edi Rama participates today in the Summit of the Leaders of the Western Balkans and the European Union, which is held in Kotor, Montenegro, with a focus on the Growth Plan of the Western Balkans.

Rama: It is time for the region to become part of the European digital wallet. We have included the objectives for this in our reform plan, I believe we will implement them within the year 2027. The Balkans needs an open path regarding this project, I would suggest moving together towards the EU.

But we have limited cooperation in the health sector and integration in the medical alliance suggests that we should move towards a healthy European Union. The pandemic has shown how important cooperation is between us.

I have to comment on the trade facilitation map, where there are only 8 waypoints. It will not only benefit the region but also member countries.

The comprehensive concept of security arises from the cooperation that is needed in the region and in the EP. We need to enter a field of European market things, for cooperation in matters of trade and customs. We will find a solution for these legal or administrative changes. We don't have to wait for the laws to be made.

We must be part of the fight against cyber attacks, our focus is on the proposals to establish the academy for the European market, we will host studies for the academy and it is not difficult to have a college of Europe, on a campus in Tirana. It would facilitate the transfer of inclusiveness.

We will continue the regional cooperation and we commit to this. It is not the past that should control the future.
