The summit of the initiative for cooperation of the countries of Southeast Europe ended with a small diplomatic "incident" between the Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama and the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

Rama has ironized the European approach to the integration of the Western Balkan countries by presenting before Scholz the Prime Minister of Northern Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski, as "Prime Minister of Western Bulgaria", thus ironizing the conditions that are set for this country in the integration process, country who a few years ago also changed his name to end the conflict he had with Greece.

At the two-day summit, there was also good news for Kosovo, where the head of the Greek government, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, said he would give full support to Kosovo's integration processes.

Greece seeks cooperation in the field of economy and energy, including Kosovo's mineral resources, exactly what Serbia requires from Kosovo.

Greece, as an EU member, assures the Balkan countries that it will be their ambassador until the membership of all countries without exception.
