Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke at today's plenary session to respond to the accusations of the Democratic MP Jorida Tabaku about the situation of fuel and food prices in the country.

" The price of the energy crisis in Albania has remained where it was before, but in other countries it has increased, as in Europe and elsewhere. Only in Albania the price does not increase and continues to remain the same as before the crisis. Today oil is definitely a component , but the energy for which we continue and pay from the state budget is the reason why we have this inflation rate.

And second, the increase of domestic production, because we have not imported inflation from other countries. Only for exports with Serbia and Northern Macedonia we have a significant increase, almost double, in terms of funds. This for inflation. You talked about 30% that reminded me of that 430 million for which we had a confrontation as you were in the role of prosecutor and I was in the role of witness. The group of food and alcoholic beverages according to INSTAT is 11.4%, there is no 30% here. Even compared to last month, prices have dropped. It's been months, INSTAT speaks and not me , said Edi Rama in the assembly.
