Publisher Nikollë Lesi has shown how the "war" against former Prime Minister Fatos Nano started.
He says that he first started with an article by Rudina Dzhunga and then the articles got deeper. He also showed the proposal he had made to Nano so that he would not speak.
"We started with an article by Rudina Dzhunga as a journalist at Koha Jonë, then an interview with Top Channel by Fatos Klos came out, which made me realize that they have information that the silversmiths are in the government. We searched and found a document and published it, that's where the fight started. It was the Clan that published the messages that Nano sent me. If I was interested, I would have shut up and made money, but I didn't," he said during a TV show.
Lesi, while speaking about the freedom of the press, told the case of analyst Andi Bushati while reporting on an event in Mamurras. He said that Bushati had gotten into trouble and for that he had given him a reward.
"Andi Bushati, when he started at Koha Jonë, they went to an event that happened in Mamurras with a car, they got into the mud with boots, and as soon as I saw it, I told finance to give them a reward. And Bushati said he saw me from the clay and not from the writing. Then he had a passion for journalism. Today it doesn't happen, there is no passion" - he said.
