A day after DP and SP found a common language to restart the work on changing the electoral law, Damian Gjiknuri met today with the representatives of the OSCE office.

After the meeting, through a press statement, Gjiknuri said that with the representatives of the OSCE, they discussed the resumption of work in the Special Parliamentary Commission.

" I had the pleasure of meeting today the representatives of the OSCE office in Albania, with whom we discussed the electoral reform process, the resumption of work in the Special Parliamentary Commission with the aim of addressing in the electoral law the recommendations of the OSCE/ODIHR and the decisions of the Constitutional Court .

I thanked them for the support so far and for the willingness to continue this commitment even further, through the best expertise from ODIHR, which will help the commission to reach the appropriate technical solutions in order to fully address the recommendations".

Meanwhile, at 14:00, Enkelejd Alibeaj is also expected to meet with the representatives of the OSCE.
