Prime Minister Edi Rama, also the chairman of the Socialist Party, in communicating with followers on social networks, stated that during the socialist government, the image of Albanians in the eyes of the world has improved significantly.

"I remember the time when you were afraid to take out your Albanian passport at the counter because they would look at you strangely, as if you were a terrorist."

"I will take revenge for all the humiliations that have been done to Albanians, in all the years of our history. I will take revenge for our children, for my children, for the little ones because the big ones can take revenge. I am here to take revenge for all the immigrants who are in Greece, Italy, England. For those who have two surnames," said Rama.
