In episode 11 of the fourth season of the podcast "Flasim", Prime Minister Edi Rama invited four characters engaged in different fields. Sara and Naimi are not Albanians, but have lived in Albania for years.
Sara is of Indian-Iranian origin, but was born and raised in England, while Naimi's parents are foreigners, he himself was born in Albania. His parents moved to Albania in 1991. The two met at the Bahá'í World Center in Israel, where he volunteered for a year.
"I grew up in Albania. My parents came in '91. My father is originally from Iran and was born and raised in Italy, while my mother is half German and Iranian and raised in Italy. They decided to come in January '91 and then they finally moved. They came to live here and help in the development of Albania. I more or less feel Albanian because I have been here for 30 years," said Naimi.
Sara said that in England she worked as a dentist while today in Albania she practices the profession of a singer. Asked by Prime Minister Rama how they decided to return to Albania. Naimi said that she went abroad to study, built several businesses and currently aims to deal with a platform for the digitalization of tourism in Albania.
"My goal in setting up businesses was to return here, but without having some problems. But things have changed and I have returned to do something. I also have a tourism marketing company. Based on that, we are working on a platform for the digitalization of tourism in Albania," added Naimi.
During the podcast, the Prime Minister called on immigrants in Britain to return and invest in their homeland.
"There is something here that you cannot find in any other place, the thing that I understood when I came back and you will understand. Come on, come back. For your own sake, go back and have a coffee, is coffee drunk in England, tell me?! First of all, I don't drink wine for 33 thousand euros because this is a show at all, I only enjoy it with friends, I don't sit down to drink wine. When I am with friends, especially when they are foreign friends who come, I enjoy it, but completely calmly, that is," Rama said.
