Numerous changes have occurred in the capital's municipality in the last 48 hours.

The delegated Mayor of Tirana Municipality, Anuela Ristani, has dismissed the Deputy Mayor Sara Goxhaj and the Secretary General, Alban Dokushi.

Instead of Alban Dokushi, by order of the acting mayor of Tirana, Anuela Ristani, Jonida Halili has been appointed as Secretary General.

The latter held the position of deputy mayor of Tirana.

Meanwhile, there has also been a movement in the Municipality of Tirana.

Berta Piro has been appointed Director General at the General Directorate of Legal Assets and Licensing, while previously she held the position of Director General at the General Directorate of Management.

We recall that from his cell, Erion Veliaj signed the order dated March 18th to delegate the powers of the management of the Municipality of Tirana to the other deputy mayor, Sara Goxhaj. The powers that he himself, with an order dated February 14th, signed from his cell, had delegated to Anuela Ristan. But this order seems not to have been welcomed by Prime Minister Rama, who yesterday evening held a meeting with the leaders of the Municipality of Tirana, where it is learned that he expressed his disapproval of this order of Veliaj, recognizing Ristan as the acting head of this institution.

However, Veliaj has resolved this issue, stating yesterday afternoon that it was all a misunderstanding on which he signed his order dated the 18th.

Meanwhile, in a conference, Anuela Ristani stated that there is no crisis in the Municipality of Tirana.

"There is no functional crisis in the Municipality of Tirana. The work continues with the same dedication, with the same energy and with the same vision that has guided us over the years under the leadership of Mayor Erion Veliaj. We will not stop working for the city of the future, for our children, for a Tirana that tomorrow will make us proud in front of them. This is our duty - to the city, to every citizen of Tirana", she said.
