"Albania is determined not to hand over the MEK Iranians in Manza to the Tehran regime, even though we paid for it with cyber attacks on the Albanian system." This is what Prime Minister Edi Rama expressed, in the event organized in the USA for the contribution and appreciation of Albania for the shelter and protection of Jews.
Meanwhile, he gave the message to the Iranians living in Manza not to do politics using Albania as a platform. He spoke at an event organized in the USA about Albania's contribution and appreciation for the shelter and protection of Jews.
"Bigger and stronger European countries did not want to help them and we paid a high price for their hospitality, as the totalitarian regime in Tehran engaged in a massive cyber aggression against Albania, which aimed to destroy our entire infrastructure digital public services. Yes, we did not give up and we will not give up our commitment to shelter those people in our country for as long as necessary, because our hospitality was not and is not related to any political stance against Iran, but only with the humanitarian conviction etched in our soul as a nation. We were forced to respond to the brutal attack of the Iranian regime by severing our diplomatic relations and expelling its diplomatic personnel from our country, but I repeat that the Iranians in Albania are at our beck and call, just as the Jews were during World War II and Tehran he will have to put his mind to sleep, that there is no chance that we will hand over any of them to the regime. On the other hand, we do not encourage our friends sheltered in any political action that uses Albania as a platform", said Rama.
For Prime Minister Rama, Hamas is one of the worst examples in the world and that the world should be united in the fight against terror. He emphasized that the ceasefire is necessary to end the suffering of civilians, but without the release of the hostages it only encourages Hamas.
"Terrorists have their monuments. September 11, October 7... But they must never have their victories against our common humanity. Albania has voted more than once in the United Nations for an immediate cease-fire, but, meanwhile, we have never suspected that a cease-fire that does not include the release of all hostages is nothing but encouragement for Hamas. Likewise, we have long supported and strongly support the two-state solution as the only way forward to lasting peace, but, for us, this means that Hamas must be "outed" and created a reliable political representation of the Palestinian side, supported by all Arab countries", said Rama.
Emphasizing that Albania does not want conflicts or nationalist grudges in the region, Rama further emphasizes that the strategic allies are the USA and the EU, also mentioning the countries of the region such as Italy, Turkey and Greece. He called for stronger partnerships with the Arab world.
