Prime Minister Edi Rama has again reminded his compatriots in Greece that on May 12 he will be in Athens, where he will hold a meeting with the Albanians who are there, in the framework of the re-energization of the Socialist Party and the preparation for the upcoming parliamentary elections in 2025.
Good morning and with a reminder for those of you who are in Greece, that on May 12th we start from Athens the spring journey in the proud diaspora to Albania, where it would be a special pleasure to meet, I wish you all a good weekend. - informs Rama.
Two days ago, the Greek media wrote that the Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis is concerned about the presence of his Albanian counterpart in Athens on May 12, as it may affect the Albanian vote for the elections of the Greek MEPs. However, Prime Minister Rama reconfirms that there is no withdrawal from either the date or the planned place of the meeting in Greece.
Even with the Albanians of Italy, the socialist leader will meet in the pre-elections for the European Parliament, as Rama is scheduled to be in Milan on May 26. The next move will be London on June 2, while the conclusion of the diaspora tour will take place in Düsseldorf.
