Prime Minister Edi Rama has expressed that more engagement is needed between the community life of schools and parents.

Rama stated that there are parents who are not even regularly interested in the child's progress, while adding that they cannot oblige them with laws to be active in the community life of the school.

"Just as there are students in the classroom, in commitments, it does not belong to the dedication, so parents have no way to be different. The advice of parents at school is fundamental and will continue to be even more fundamental and key every day, month and year for the entire success of the work of the schools and the children's education.

Those engaged in parenting advice are naturally more flexible about what we can do better. We can get it all written into laws, but this subject requires people. There is one party that does not oblige with laws and orders. It's the parents. You cannot legally oblige them to be active in the community life of the school and go beyond the distant relationship for the sake of the child. There are parents who don't even take regular interest in the child's progress. At this point, we must make a joint effort in all directions", said Rama.
