Prime Minister Edi Rama has inspected the works on the Koman road, an investment that he said will greatly boost the development of this area. Dozens of residents of the area welcomed the head of government, who told him that it is an investment they have been waiting for for years and is only now becoming a reality.

"This road that you were worried about will be built, it will provide a lot of security and a lot of boost to tourism. All this great beauty, you know better than anyone how difficult it is to cross. It will be built like all the things we have done that are good and beautiful," said Rama.

"Something we have been waiting for for many years is becoming a reality," said one resident.

"I know you've been waiting for it, but in order, we can't do it all at once," said the prime minister.

From the city that has been run by the Democrats for 30 years, the Prime Minister did not spare any stings towards them, saying that their duties are divided: They lie, while the Socialist Party does the work. It was the residents themselves who said that the DP had also promised them this investment, but it lied to them 100 times.

"We have also waited for those who came before you. They lied to us 100 times," continued one resident.

"We have divided these jobs, they have a duty to work and eat what they want. We have work to do," the prime minister replied.

"We do what we say, the problem is that we need patience because not everything can be done immediately and not everything you think you're going to do, gets done when you want to. Now it's our turn and I hope we do it brilliantly," Rama continued. 

The Koman Road serves a significant number of residents of the Vau i Dejës municipality and is an axis that connects the two hydroelectric power plants of Koman and Vau i Dejës to each other. The so-called technological road, as it connects the two hydroelectric power plants, the 31 km axis was built in 1980. The frequent interaction between the two structures due to energy emergencies and the frequent movements of hydroelectric power plant employees, made the rehabilitation of this axis a necessity, an investment that is being carried out by the Albanian Energy Corporation.
