The Prime Minister of the country, Edi Rama, through a video message on Facebook, has announced that he has signed 15 construction confiscation procedures, after going through all the legal links.

Rama: Today, after going through all the legal links, I have signed a total of 15 construction confiscation procedures, where the legal limits of permits have been exceeded for the purpose of profit, or in some cases it has been built without a permit at all.

Confiscated buildings will be used for public interest. The spaces obtained will be transferred to the state, which, as the case may be, will use them for office premises for the administration, for social housing or social services.

According to the prime minister, the operation extending beyond Tirana has had problems for 30 years, but now they have narrowed the circle of violations.
