"Rama and Lubi Balluku should resign!", opposition in national protest

Today, on "Martyrs of the Nation" Boulevard, the opposition will hold a national protest, which it describes as a strong confrontation with the corruption and arrogance of the government.

The protest is expected to start at 6:00 PM, in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where the opposition is demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, following recent scandals that, according to them, have shaken the government.

The DP emphasizes that today's protest is the voice of citizens who no longer accept impunity and state capture.

Leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has invited citizens from all over Albania to join the square, underlining that this protest is not just for one day, but for the future of the country and democracy.

The opposition's previous scenarios are expected to play out during today's rally, while we recall that the police fired tear gas to disperse the protesters.

DP leader Sali Berisha has expressed his determination that the opposition action will continue, while there have been frequent warnings of an escalation of the situation if there are no reflections from the Rama government.

Berisha has also repeatedly warned police officers not to violate protesters.

We recall that the February 10 protest lasted about 3 hours, where after protesting at the Prime Minister's Office, citizens moved to the Parliament.

During this time, there were numerous clashes with the police, throwing of pyrotechnics, Molotov cocktails, stones, and physical clashes with the police, where the latter responded with water, tear gas, and numerous arrests.
