Prime Minister Edi Rama also focused on "Bankers Petroleum", supporting the Fier Prosecutor's Office in the investigation of this company.

Rama also recalls the arbitration that the government won with Bankers, saying that the company owes him 240 million euros.

"First, we have won an arbitration with Bankers and this company owes us 240 million euros! Thank goodness the day has come for the Prosecution to investigate independently, I take my hat off to the one who conducted this investigation and I hope they can get all the black water out of that enterprise where there really were many problems and it is still today the cost of a concession granted before I took office. I have no problem with Bankers or who made Bankers, or who is related to those names. I have no problem at all", Rama emphasized.

We recall that according to the Fier Prosecutor's Office, the investigation into " Bankers Petroleum " Albania began in December 2024, where the establishment of fraudulent schemes related to value added tax and income concealment was documented, for which nine people (already arrested) are suspected, as well as five others who are wanted.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, the company has traded over 532 billion lek of fuel, but in the last 20 years has declared the company with losses worth 11.7 billion, causing the state considerable financial damage.
