The virtual clash between Adriatik Lapaj and Endrit Shabani has captured the attention of the media over the past few hours, in what we can call an 'intra-party fight for a seat'.

However, it turns out that this clash between them was predicted earlier, a few weeks before the May 11 elections, by the leader of the "Together Movement", Arlind Qori.

The latter was invited to the show "Zonë e Lirë" with journalist Arjan Çani, when he made strong statements saying that nothing unites the two of them.

Qori mocked the Lapaj-Shabani duo, saying that they are not even united by the coalition, where they have placed family members on the lists.

"The day after the elections, I'm saying it here, they will curse each other, they will curse each other," Qori declared in that interview, which, as it seems today, is proving to be an accurate 'prediction', as the only mandate won by the "Albania Initiative" coalition is being coveted by all the party's candidates. 

"This has nothing to do with each other. The day after the elections, I'm saying it here, they will curse each other, they will curse each other. They will say to each other "you stole my votes" because nothing unites them, they simply have a common uniform, so they have told themselves we are coalition X and each of us has only one interest, each of those who are on those lists there. 

How can I become an individual MP? They don't care about anything else, neither ideas, nor the program, nor history. A serious party doesn't do this, but enters according to the rules.  


Second, even if it is forced to do so, there are activists within the party who do it. They say, since we don't trust anyone except mom and dad, we will put mom and dad on the safe list. 

Tomorrow, if they take power, they'll say, "Mom and Dad will become ministers, they'll become directors," because others will somehow get in our way. 

"This is the greatest mockery, this is making fun of the citizens," Qori declared in an almost prophetic manner.

We recall that the "crisis" in the "Nisma Shqipëria Bëhet" coalition began after Endri Shabani's uncle, Zeqir Kordhoni, refused to resign and wrote to the CEC asking to take the deputy's mandate if it was his turn, even though he is positioned ninth on the closed list of the "Nisma Shqipëria Bëhet" coalition.

This also led to a long-distance clash between Lapaj and Shabani.

From the list, Lapaj is seeking the mandate, claiming that he received 6,500 votes in Tirana, while Shabani received 2,900.

But it seems that the parties have not agreed to launch a public debate that will only be resolved by the CEC.
