The government's decision to dismiss the former mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has been published in the Official Gazette.

The decision was made by the Council of Ministers yesterday at its regular meeting, after the Municipal Council voted on Wednesday with 50 votes in favor of dismissing Erion Veliaj.

The Socialist Party and the Democratic Party combined their votes in the Municipal Council.

The decision to dismiss Veliaj is published in the Official Gazette
