The former Minister of Defense, Olta Xhaçka, who is now the Minister of Foreign Affairs, is expected to be interrogated by SPAK, regarding the issue of "privatization of army properties in Saranda and Shengjin".
The former commander of the naval force, Artur Meçollari, accused in March 2021 all the high officials of the army, including the former Minister of Defense at that time, Olta Xhaçka and President Bajram Begaj, in connection with this issue.
Today, Artur Meçollari and the former chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, currently a deputy of the Socialist Party, Bardhyl Kollçaku, appeared at the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SPAK).
Kollçaku and Meçollari were called to SPAK in the capacity of former military officials, precisely for the issue of properties on the coast.
