Digitalization is the biggest bottleneck for municipalities, according to Prime Minister Rama, who called for focus and profound change in this regard. He urged mayors to see the 11 million euros of EU support beyond funding.
"We have an unacceptable and unjustifiable gap in digitalization in central and local government.
We have spoken at length with the minister, we will also speak with the EU representation, and with our German partners, even though they are behind us in digitalization, they still work by fax in the ministry in Germany, and beyond the joke, which in this case is much more than half the truth, we will address the problem.
"Do your best to use this project not as a funding opportunity, but to create an experience, to strengthen human capital, to prepare within the municipalities, even better, the small nuclei that you have begun to establish. In this respect, this project is irreplaceable," said Rama.
