Today, the Democratic Party held the primaries for the candidates who will compete in the local elections on May 14.
The race that has had the most interest was definitely that of Tirana, where it was expected with great attention who will face Veliaj.
The candidate who received the most votes is Belind Kelliçi, but he was unable to win with 50%+1 votes, and for this reason the race goes to round 2.
Ilir Alimehmeti is the candidate who won second place and the 2nd round will be exactly between him and Këlliç on December 11.
The candidate who received a significant number of votes was Gerti Bogdani.
The other candidates were all forgettable.
