In its response to the DP, the Tirana Police said that they are not taking responsibility for the opposition rally, but that there will be measures as there is information that there may be violence.

Asked by journalists at today's media conference, Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha considered this "a serious act of provocation" by the State Police, stating that the protest will be peaceful.

"Our comment is this. The drug police should carry out their duties because officials are fleeing, they are running away like rats. What do you think, only Agasi has escaped? Dozens of others have escaped. I call on the prosecution to temporarily block all passports of officials who have files in SPAK. Agaci fled, Agasi fled, directors whose names I don't know.
