Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, has reacted to Top Channel, after messages allegedly addressed to Albanians in North Macedonia, "what are those Albanian idiots there saying?", in a group communication.

The response states that foreign policy positions are not communicated through WhatsApp messages, but through official and transparent channels.

"This issue has already been clarified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through a public response and I have nothing to add."

Our foreign policy positions are not communicated via SMS or WhatsApp. They are communicated through official and transparent channels, known to the public and our international partners, and only these positions produce an effect.

"Anyone who wants to get acquainted with the positions and attitudes I have held during my diplomatic career, in the most important international centers for our national interests, has it very easy to do so, since everything is public and documented. It is about 35 years of uninterrupted contribution in the service of the common good and national interest," Hoxha said in a response to TCH.
