The head of the branch of the Democratic Party in Korça, Devis Osmani, was raped this afternoon by a secretary of the group section of this party.

He had a physical conflict with the democrat Eduart Topalli, where sources indicate that the latter hit him on the head with a bottle, leaving him injured.

It is known that the incident took place outside a bar at the entrance of Korça and the reason for the fight was the disagreements within the party.

In recent months, the Democratic Party in Korça continues to be divided as half of the democrats do not recognize the new Chairmanship of this branch elected in the last elections, claiming that they were manipulated and the list was made by the chairman.

The center's Democratic Party initially scheduled new elections for the Presidency, but they were postponed a day before they were to be held by the party's court. However, even though the center had scheduled new elections, the chairman Devis Osmani convened the Presidency in opposition to the center before the new elections were postponed by the court.
