Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to the massive floods that have engulfed Spain, expressing his condolences to the Spanish people and especially to the families of the victims.

In his reaction, the head of the government states that Albania is ready to offer its help.

Edi Rama's reaction:

"Deeply shocked by the severe flooding that hit areas of Valencia, Andalusia and Murcia in Spain, worst natural disaster, killing at least 51 people. My condolences go out to the families of the victims. Sending strength and solidarity to the people and government of Spain! We want all affected communities to recover quickly and be ready to help," he writes.

At least 51 people, including children, have died as heavy rain lashed much of eastern and southern Spain on Tuesday, flooding roads with water and mud and causing problems for rail and air travel.
