The Democratic Party has demanded the immediate dismissal of the mayor of Poliçan, Adriatik Zotkaj, for concealing and not justifying a number of assets, contracts and bank accounts with large monetary values.

The DP spokeswoman said, among other things, that Zotkaj, using the position as Mayor, has benefited from various incomes and favors, directly or indirectly, personally or in favor of the ABG company, where he is a shareholder.

"Specifically, on January 22, 2024, the APP bulletin no. 3 published the "Notice of the conclusion of the contract with the object: Reconstruction of Drenovicë Street, connected between AK Municipality Dimal and the contractor, the union of economic operators with the subcontractor, the company also owned by to the son of the chairman Zotkaj G & M CONSTRUCTION 07 sh.pk", she denounced.

Full statement:

Adriatik Zotaj, turned into Skrapar's self-god-self-stick, is the illustration of the reborn socialist local ruler in the government of Edi Rama.

He is a member of the Presidency and General Assembly of the Socialist Party, at the same time the mayor of Poliçan for 4 terms from 2004 onwards.

His violations, corrupt acts, and abuses of power resemble an Ottoman Pasha more than a modern ruler.

In 2015, ILDKPKI criminally charged Adriatik Zotkaj for:

- concealment of assets in total over 6000 m2 of land,

- Concealment of vehicles, including an excavator worth 50,000 euros

- Lack of legal financial resources for the immediate repayment of loans over 100 thousand euros

- concealment of income benefited from the conclusion of the contract with a telephone company, for the lease of a sip. of 1100 m2.

– Account hiding in a second-tier bank.

- False statement regarding his resignation as administrator of the company ABG shpk, which he did not do.

- Non-declaration of the sale of 65% of the shares of the company ABG, in the years 2008-2009.

- Concealment, false declaration and lack of legal financial resources for the amount of 1,000,000 euros.

In addition to these, with the actions performed, using the position as Mayor, he has benefited from various incomes and favors, directly or indirectly, personally or in favor of the ABG company, where he is a shareholder.

Guarantees as a public person for loans taken from local banks, the exercise of activity in the territory covered by the Municipality that he leads, are elements of unfair advantage and elements of abuse of office.

In 2017, the General Prosecutor's Office requested the termination of the mandate as mayor for Adriatik Zotkajn for non-declaration of a final sentence given in 1985, but the CEC rejected it.

Ariatik Zotkaj, as many times as he was mandated as mayor, i.e. 4 times, was convicted by the courts with final decisions, 2 times for crimes and 2 times for criminal misdemeanors.

Ariatik Zotkaj has been sentenced for insults and beatings due to duty; violation of traffic rules and opposition to law enforcement and, according to the court's final decision, on May 21, 2002, for committing arbitrary actions against citizens and using a forged diploma. With this diploma, he started the Faculty in 1992, while 3 years later, in 1995, he completed high school.

As in a satirical novel, Zotkaj goes to university and then high school.

As a man with a fake school, he hates the people of education and this hatred pushed him to rape the exemplary teacher FH and his son in the middle of the Policeman.

For all the "decorations" in ignorance and corruption Adriatik Zotkaj has been declared "Honorary Citizen".

After ILDKPKI identified the violations in declarations, Zotkaj declares as assets:

owner with 35% of the shares in the trading company Albania Beverages Group shpk in violation of the law on conflict of interest, article 29

The children are owners of 3 commercial companies and one of them implements public contracts.

4) Bank loans in three second level banks in the amounts of 75 thousand euros, 30 thousand euros and 1 000 000 euros, the latter taken on behalf of the company where he is a shareholder, which he repaid in the amount of 500 thousand euros.

As can be seen, 4 mandates as mayor and support from Rama are enough for Adriatik Zotkaj to become lord in Skrapar and to get rich, without worrying about breaking the law.
