The chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the German Bundestag, Michael Roth, has come out in favor of the decision of the Kosovo government to abolish the Serbian dinar, where every payment will now be made only in euros.

Roth has written on social networks that the fact that Kosovo has removed the dinar may worry some people, meaning Serbia here, but he adds that even in Germany, payment is made in euros, not dollars or pounds.

"Some beat the NATO soldiers until hospitalization, others make it clear that only the recognized national currency is valid in their territory. It may bother some people, but even in Germany we only pay in euros, not dollars or pounds," wrote Roth, responding to the Embassy of Serbia in the Federal Republic of Germany.

Roth's reaction comes to the Serbian Embassy in Germany, which wrote that Kosovo has taken a dangerous escalating step by banning the use of Serbian dinars, creating another crisis and making life unbearable for Kosovo Serbs.
