The deputy of the Socialist Party, Vullnet Sinaj , spoke at the meeting of the Council on the mandate and regulation, in relation to the accusations of the opposition, that the Bigalb group company has benefited from the state budget. 

Sinaj stated that the money in question, which is claimed to have been received from the State Budget by the company where he is 100% owner, is, according to him, a return of VAT from businesses that have gone bankrupt.

Sinaj mentioned charitable acts done by him and the company in question, while facing the opposition MPs.

Vullnet Sinaj :  I am here today to explain to all Albanians, because those from my area know who they are. I am not allowed to interfere in the business, the trusted person gave me some information, what came out is a funny thing. ALL 32 million are VAT refunds, from closed businesses that have gone into liquidation, these are business money, not budget money. What did you come here for? Take away the first term that I have finished, the bills for the second term are only 350 thousand ALL.

I did not do business when I became a deputy, I entered politics to make a contribution, I gave my salary to people in need. I have created the opportunity for people in need to live like everyone else. I'm sorry Mr. Bardhi, how did you not find that I have given 100 mln ALL from my personal account for the earthquake situation.

How did you not find that this Bigalb group, after me, also gave 100 thousand euros. I'm sorry for talking like this, you forced me to crack my throat, to speak openly. How is it possible that Vullnet Sinaj has given 100 thousand euros, is there a deputy who has donated these figures for the Albanian state, you deal with these trivial things. My business is a family business, I have passive quotas, it is a business that has 2500 employees. That business of mine has insured all employees in a private company.

It is 150 thousand euros that the business pays for its own employees, you forced me to speak like that. I don't know if you are married and have children, Mr. Bardhi, that business that is 100% mine, is the one that built the cardiac surgery room at the Mother Teresa hospital. How can you come here and tell me that I made the name. I did not participate in any tender, in any concession, for these voluminous files that you have brought here, I have to consult with lawyers.

In the motion submitted by the opposition MPs, it is said that Sinai has violated the Constitution, as it has benefited from public funds contrary to point 3 of Article 70 of the Constitution, which prohibits the MP from benefiting from public property. 

The opposition claims that there are 30 proofs of how the majority legislator has benefited from the state budget through his companies during the exercise of the deputy's mandate.

The socialist did not alienate the shares, but transferred them to other persons, and therefore the democrats accuse that he has never lost the right to own his companies and receive profits .

The Democrats state that the ownership of these companies and the fact that the profits have gone as dividends to the deputy Vullnet Sinaj himself is proven by his annual wealth declaration statements.

The signatories of the motion claim that there are at least 9 transactions verified by the state treasury in the total amount of ALL 3,689,814 that went as payments to the companies "BIGALB GROUP" sh.pk, "BIG LISUS" sh.pk, "BIG DURRSI" sh.pk, "BIG PESHKOPIA" sh.pk, "BIG ROI" sh.pk, "BIG LEO" sh.pk, "BIG LEZHA" sh.pk, "BIG DRINI" sh.pk, "BASHKIMI" sh.pk , "TIRANA CASH & CARRY" sh.pk
