Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha participated today in the protest organized by this political force at several intersections in Tirana, where they blocked traffic.
Berisha spoke from the protest, saying that Edi Rama, like Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, "has a difficult winter ahead." Berisha was referring to yesterday's protest in Belgrade, where over 100,000 citizens participated.
"In protest. In revolt. In disobedience, against the narco-dictator. This winter promises to be difficult, both for the laborer of Tirana and for the master of Belgrade."
Even in Belgrade, students are shaking the dictator to the core, and there is no future in Tirana either. I greet from the bottom of my heart, all those citizens, democrats who have gathered today from all over the country and have taken over Tirana," Berisha said.
He further compared Rama to dictator Bashar al-Assad, saying that it only took 35,000 soldiers to remove him.
