Opposition leader Sali Berisha has opposed the closure of the TikTok platform by the Rama government. According to Berisha, this is an extreme act of censorship, as Rama cannot control TikTok.

"Rama decided to ban the Tik Tok platform solely because his social media shares have plummeted, as all polls show," Berisha said in his message shared on social media.

In an extreme act of censorship, Edi Rama announced yesterday that he has decided to completely block the TikTok platform. According to him, this was a major cause of the murder of the student at the school.

However, the Tik Tok company informed that neither the late Martin nor his killer had accounts on this platform.

What does it mean? They say this is the same as if, in order to avoid accidents, we should stop using cars, or stop using roads, and these are absurdities.

The truth is that Edi Rama decided to ban the Tik Tok platform solely because his social media shares have plummeted, as all the polls show.

Secondly, he cannot buy these platforms, like he buys other media in Albania.

And finally, we are on the eve of elections and cannot tolerate the negativities reflected by citizens on these platforms.

Guaranteeing you that the Tik Tok platform will be opened immediately after the elections, I invite you, dear friends, to post on your Tik Tok accounts, but also on other social networks, statuses in defense of this platform and in condemnation of the extreme censor, the narco-dictator Edi Rama.
