DP MP and chairwoman of the Media Committee, Ina Zhupa, has reacted again regarding the plan to close Tik Tok in Albania.
Zhupa argued that this murder is being used to carry out Rama's premeditated "assassination" against Tik Tok for electoral reasons.
"No one, neither the victim nor the perpetrator, had an account on Tik Tok. The quarrel neither started nor was consumed on Tik Tok." "But if the specific case was from the use of Tik Tok, the obligation would still be proportional measures," Zhupa wrote.
Full reaction:
We will not allow the premeditated murder of Rama against Tik Tok for electoral reasons!
Rama, the "murderer" of media freedom, who seeks to cover up the traces of a murder. Exploiting a murder, not to take responsibility for the failure of education, but to carry out his own "murder" that he had been thinking about for a long time.
Neither the victim nor the perpetrator had an account on Tik Tok. The quarrel neither started nor was consumed on Tik Tok. But if the specific case was due to the use of Tik Tok, the obligation would still be proportional measures.
Any restrictive measure must be proportionate to the purpose it seeks to achieve. A total ban on TikTok is a repressive measure against freedom of expression, especially if the problems could be addressed through measures such as digital education, the installation of safety filters, or content moderation.
The timing of this decision is a clear indication that electoral interest is the true motive behind the unconstitutional demand to shut down a social media, communication platform like Tik Tok.
What is really hidden is the early premeditation of this murder, for electoral reasons, which was thought to be carried out by the Disinformation Commission, as a measure from the "war of foreign enemies."
Rama launched the disinformation commission precisely with the intention that its work would lead to the need to shut down TikTok and any media he did not like during the electoral campaign. The destruction of the credibility of that commission by the strength of the opposition's opposition, the suspicions of civil society and the observation of internationals seemed to have failed the initial plan. That commission has taken its toll, so another form was needed to achieve the predetermined goal in the fast-paced campaign period.
The time came, the commission had advanced, exploiting the murder was the opportunity Rama saw to achieve the premeditated murder of freedom of expression on Tik Tok.
Tik Tok is a platform that is effectively used by activists and the opposition to mobilize citizens, share denunciations, and promote transparency. Because it is a network for which the government has not yet created a model for "changing" visibility according to its mechanisms, report, shadowban, and "Activist".
Young people are the main users of TikTok and those who can change the electoral outcome of the upcoming elections, preventing them from being "sucked in" by the brainwashing of propaganda in traditional media.
These are the real reasons behind the premeditated murder of Tik Tok, which we cannot allow.
Today Tik Tok, tomorrow every space of freedom and expression. We do not forgive freedom!
