From a meeting where he announced the closure of TikTok for a year in Albania, Prime Minister Edi Rama also mocked opposition MP Agron Shehaj, who blocked the floor for 4 hours during Thursday's plenary session, demanding an interpellation with Belinda Balluku.

Without mentioning him by name, Rama said that they have nothing to do with a deputy who physically prevents others from speaking, emphasizing that such patterns of violence also affect children.

" We have nothing to do with the MP who comes to the podium and physically prevents others from speaking. But when this and many others like this take the paths of Facebook, TikTok and others and when they appear to our children, that TikTok does not produce a new plan of action. On TikTok, this event can only come out if I fall down the stairs there. And when our children, teenagers, see a brave man, or a bunch of brave men who do not let others cheat, they like these brave men more and want to copy them when the teacher comes out in front or when a classmate is serious about giving a lesson or exam. This is the effect of all this, because TikTok ultimately promotes what it finds in the streets of our politics and media. We have nothing to do with these, but we can do a lot within the space where the teacher, parent and child are together ," said Rama.
