The European Democratic Parties (PDE/EDP) have reacted to the Tirana protests, describing them as a message that cannot be ignored by any political force.

In a post on social media, PDE emphasizes that the 24th day of protest was not only against Prime Minister Edi Rama and his government, but also against an opposition that, according to them, many citizens no longer see as an alternative.

"The protest sent a message that no party can ignore. The calls were against Edi Rama and his government, but also against an opposition that many citizens no longer see as an alternative," the statement said.

According to the PDE, the protest expresses the rejection of a political model that has failed to bring prosperity, transparency and trust. “Albania deserves a democratic renewal, not another closed bargain between exhausted elites. The streets are demanding to move forward,” concludes the reaction of the European Democratic Parties.
