Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has joined a group of young people from this party's youth forum, accompanied by users of the social network TikTok, which is expected to be closed by government decision.

Berisha walked from his apartment to the Prime Minister's Office building, where a protest against the closure of Tik-Tok will be held.

The opposition describes this government decision as a violation and censorship of free speech.

While Prime Minister Edi Rama previously stated that the decision was made in consultation with thousands of parents and teachers, accusing TikTok of spreading anti-values ​​and inciting violence.

TikTok will remain closed for a year until, as Rama has stated, the government and the China-based company guarantee the protection of teenagers from harmful material.
