In his column "Sy m'Sy", Prime Minister Edi Rama has provided some details about the difficult work they have encountered in the Murriz tunnel.
Rama said that water had burst in the tunnel, which caused the completion deadline to be postponed.
"Today I have been freed from a real nightmare. The Murriz Tunnel, an unprecedented trap of nature where I said we fell and we will never get out. When it was going well and beautifully, the waters broke and took us hostage, postponing the completion deadlines indefinitely. Well, today the endless "Odyssey" ended, which became exactly like a battle to take a fortress that would not surrender. The staff who also deals with this chronicle, informed me that they have barely found a few negative comments. Thank you to all those who have not spared the positive comments", said Rama
Rama said that every infrastructure work that is built is with European standards as its goal is Albania's membership in the EU.
"Not only that tunnel, but every infrastructure work that we build, roads, schools, hospitals, is only with European standards because we have made up our minds, dear Bledi, because we will make this country a member of the EU by 2030 and this means that not only will every Albanian be given a European passport, but we will also passport Albania into Europe with European standards ," said Rama.
Meanwhile, in addition to positive comments about the Murriz tunnel, Rama also had negative comments on Facebook.
"Steal, steal, you only have a few days left ," wrote one commenter on Facebook.
In his reaction, Rama emphasized once again that this project has cost our state very little since it was done through PPP.
"This work was done with PPP (Public Private Partnership) and has cost this state very little than what it would have cost if the private sector were not obliged by the contract we made to carry out at its own expense all the massive unforeseen works that occurred when the water burst in the Murriz Tunnel. This theft, your theft is like that of some who in their comments about the Tirana-Durres railway write "why is it with one lane, or did you steal the other one", said Rama.
One of the comments about Rama was related to the outfit the prime minister wore today during the tunnel inauguration.
The follower asked him how much the coat cost. " I wonder how much that coat costs, Mr. Rama, because I was looking for it and couldn't find it!? " the follower wrote.
Rama said that he bought the coat 20 years ago in Germany, while asking the commentator not to engage in clothing talk.
Of course, Rama did not leave the opposition without irony in his reply.
"There's nothing you can do, because there's nothing a man can do who eats lies like berries because they enjoy them for pleasure. The frogs in the swamp found you hungry and gave you a berry. Now you say you can't find a coat like mine because you mean it's out of stock. I bought it in Germany 20 or so years ago, so don't look for it in vain because its depreciation period has passed. It's not right for a man to mess with a man's clothes ," said Rama.
