The start of the Himara Municipal Council meeting was accompanied by tensions. Fredi Beller's supporters asked for the exit of the current employees of the municipality and for them to stay inside.

It is known that the political leader of the Socialist Party, Blendi Klosi, arrived in Himarë this Tuesday. The Greek ambassador, Konstantina Kamitsi, and the president of PBDNJ, Vangjel Dule, are also there.

We recall that Beler was not allowed to leave his cell and take the oath as the mayor of Himara.

However, he sent a letter from prison where he emphasized that the 45 days in custody do not change his deep faith in democracy, rights and institutions, adding that "this ordeal will not have a cross".
