Deputy Ervin Salianji reacted after today the Court of Appeal upheld a prison sentence against him.

Salianji said on Facebook that he has strongly denounced any injustice, while adding that this decision against him was made by "wretched judges, who sell their dignity and profession only for chairs".

He added that "the prosecutor and the judge in the case against me came out in public with a long note, showing without hesitation that he staged this legal farce, this political process and that he was the one who made the decision".

"1000 times I would make the denunciation I made again", said Salianji, further underlining that "in war there are sacrifices" and that they have taken from him "the mandate given by the citizens, and the freedom that God gives, but they have lost their dignity and legitimacy".

He concluded the reaction by expressing his apologies to the family and friends who have been worried, as well as to the thousands of Democrats to whom he owes.
