In prison for abuse of office, Vangjush Dako appeals to the Supreme Court

The former Mayor of Durrës Vangjush Dako, who was arrested for "abuse of duty" in two cases, has appealed to the Supreme Court. Through his lawyer, Dako opposes the decision of the Special Appeal that did not change the amount of people arrested in prison.

The appeal has been registered as the draw has Ilir Pandë as a relator member.

Dako was arrested on June 6 by order of the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime on suspicion of having misused his office in two cases. The first is allowed with the right of resolution for Durrës of a building in violation of the law, and the issue of the tender for the project of designing the coastline that increases the values ​​10-fold. Together with Dako, 10 arrest warrants were issued, 7 of them with prison arrest and 3 under house arrest.
