Sali Berisha's MPs have left the meeting in the premises of the Parliament of Albania, after staying for hours in the dark, at the end of today's plenary session.
They protested the behavior of the government, which according to them has penalized them by not recognizing them in any mechanism of the Assembly.
And while they disrupted today's parliamentary session, blocking the pulpit and riding on the ministers' chairs, the Assembly decided to expel 26 of them for 10 days.
At the end of the "examination", MP Gazment Bardhi told the media that he does not know the expulsion decision and that they will be present at the next session as well.
"You cannot exclude the opposition for seeking its rights, we do not seek compromise. As long as the opposition is not allowed to fulfill its mission, not even the majority can continue its work. They say for 10 days, but the MPs have been expelled for 11 days, they are blind, they sign without reading", declared Bardhi.
