Meta on the arrest: Ergys Agasi coordinated my kidnapping!
Ilir Meta

The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has reacted on social media, accusing Ergys Agas, wanted by SPAK for the AKSHI file, of being behind the manner in which his arrest was carried out, which he describes as a kidnapping.

Meta accuses while saying that SPAK and the court are proving that he was informed of the charges by the judicial police at 14:16, while in the viral video it was recorded at 12:18. Meta conducts the conversation in the form of a dialogue, explaining according to him the role that Agasi had in his arrest and the involvement of agents who were masked.

"Urgent," Gysi tells them, "write the arrest warrant and have it signed and bring it to the Tirana Directorate because the guys in masks have been there for two hours and the media has gathered."

"Let them take off their masks, they're hot," he says to the BKH, "because we need some time from the traffic to get the prosecutors' signatures."

"You idiot," Gysi yells, "do you really remember that those with masks are Special Forces. They are all wanted and I barely managed to gather them from Durrës and Elbasan."

"When the BKH arrived at the restaurant to deliver the order, Prosecutor Sotiri, as scrupulous as he was, caught the mistake and told the two bosses," Meta's dialogue states.

Full reaction:

For all those who do not have time to read the Constitution and International Conventions, which prevail in our legislation, I want to simplify your understanding (perception) of how the rule of law functions in the Meta case, from the day of the public kidnapping of October 21, 2024 until now.

In the rule of law, if we simplify the pyramid or hierarchy of the functioning of the rule of law as if it were a 4-story building (without additions), normally the bandits live on the first floor (basement).

On the second floor stands the Police (above the bandits).
On the third floor stands the Prosecution and SPAK.
On the fourth floor stands the Court (above everyone).

In a state governed by the rule of law, there are no additional floors above the fourth floor (i.e. the courts).

While in the Meta case, the bandits (Criminal Organization specializing in kidnapping) are on the fourth floor.

On the third floor is the Police (Narcopolicia).
On the second floor is the Prosecutor's Office (SPAK).

And on the fourth floor (basement) stands the Court.

Because the Court itself and SPAK officially prove to us that citizen Ilir Metaj was informed of the charges by the Judicial Police (State Police) at exactly 2:16 p.m.
Meanwhile, the video that went viral worldwide was recorded at 12:18 p.m.

So, masked bandits, armed with heavy weapons, without faces, without names, and without any papers with them, violently abduct and forcefully put the former President of the Republic, who was then legally protected by the Republican Guard, into their private car.

For exactly 2 hours (not 2 minutes), the bandits parade the streets of the capital with the former President in handcuffs to hand him over to the judicial police, the only one designated by the Court to carry out the execution at 2:16 PM.

Out of excessive zeal to serve their Police, the bandits also hand over Mr. Meta's companion, citizen Artemis Peca, in handcuffs.

"We told you about one," the police said to the bandits, "and you brought us two."
"Excuse us," the bandits replied, "but these two looked very similar to each other, so we decided to handcuff them both to be sure of your message."

"Release this other one," the police told them, "because we don't need him and continue with the list of other kidnappings."

"One for all and all for one!", the bandits shouted and took the handcuffs from Artemis' hands to place them in turn on (Gysi), Geront, Daniel and many others.

Two days later, on October 23, 2024, Judge Erion Çela asks the three prosecutors (the musketeers): "How was the arrest of the defendant, Ilir Metaj, carried out?"

Prosecutor Kraja, with experience in arrests in both eras, declared: “Only according to the law, Your Honor!” His two colleagues nodded in agreement.

"This is lying to Mr. Judge," said the defendant, "and the decision signed by you yourself that the execution of my arrest would be carried out only by the Judicial Police, BKH and SPAK has been seriously violated by masked thugs."

"The session is suspended!" - the judge says and heads to the Deliberation (Command) Chamber to "mature" the decision.

The session resumes.

The judge solemnly and with his head bowed, declares the decision: "The court, after hearing the position of the prosecutors and that of the defendant, ruled in favor of the prosecutors and considers the arrest to be completely legal."

"On what legal basis, Mr. Judge?", the defendant reacted.

"In a democracy there is only one defendant law and that is the law of the majority. These are three (prosecutors) and you are one (defendant)."

"Sorry, Mr. Judge, but I reacted that way believing in the slogan behind you:
The law is equal for all."

The next day, the defendant meets with the lawyer.

"Hey lawyer, I understand that three is greater than one, but I still don't understand how it happened that all three special prosecutors signed my arrest on a 1998 law that was repealed in 2020. How did one of them not see the mistake?"

"Listen," the lawyer tells the defendant, "it wasn't the fault of the three prosecutors, but of a certain Gysi and Erion Veliaj, as friends from the BKH told me. This Gysi, they say, coordinates these kidnappings between the four floors (i.e. the bandits, the police, SPAK and the court). The idea was that from kidnapping to surrender it would take 20 minutes, but Gysi remembered that the prosecutors were in the office.

Meanwhile, they were in the suburbs at a special lunch, but the kidnapping had happened. So Gysi tells the BKH people to do the papers now so that everything goes smoothly."

“Yes, the prosecutors are not here,” they tell him from the BKH, “but in a bar near Surrel.”
“Urgent,” Gysi tells them, “write the arrest warrant and have it signed and bring it to the Tirana Directorate because the guys in masks have been here for two hours and the media have gathered.”

When the BKH arrived at the restaurant to deliver the order, Prosecutor Sotiri, as scrupulous as he was, caught the mistake and pointed it out to the two bosses.

“What should we do?” they debated. “Should we sign it like this or bring it back corrected?”
Sotiri tells the two bosses: “Please continue your lunch because I'm going to the office myself to
fix it with my own hands. I've told you 100 times that these BKH people are irresponsible.”

"Are you okay?", - says the acting chief. "By the time you go to SPAK and return to Surrel and then by the time we sign and the order goes to the Police Directorate, it will take another three hours of traffic. So let's sign it like it is because it's not the first violation we've committed. Plus Kimetja just sent me the invitation to the Decoration."

"Okay!" says the deposed boss, adding that we followed this procedure with Jamarber as well.

"Since the Gysi had nothing to do, they swore that if Soros lost the elections in 2 weeks, Lali Eri would pay for this traffic delay," the lawyer concluded his story.

"Now I understand Veliaj's guilt," the defendant says to the lawyer.
