TikTok closure in Albania, Prime Minister Rama reacts!

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted through a post on the social network " X " regarding the government's decision to temporarily close TikTok in Albania for 12 months.

According to Rama , this decision was made after extensive consultation with 65,000 parents and teachers, as well as after building the necessary technical capacities.

He added that the government is in positive dialogue with the TikTok company , which is expected to visit Albania to introduce new safety measures for children, including content in the Albanian language, as well as innovations in the service of education.

" We say what we do and we do what we say ," Rama emphasized in his reaction.
